Crocheting for Charity

I am involved in two crochet-related charities: Heartmade Blessings (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hb-comfortghansand the Navy Marine Corp Relief Society (http://www.nmcrs.org/pages/budgeting-for-a-baby).

My dilemma is that both of these fine organizations are needing more people to help make squares or blankets for their wonderful work and I don't know which one to focus on right now!

So if any of you fellow crocheters would be willing to join in on either of these projects, please let me know and I'll send you more details, or put you in touch with the coordinators. Even if you can't make the full 36" square blanket for the Navy class, certainly some of you could whip out a 12" square or 2 for Heartmade Blessings?

The only requirement is to use washable yarn (any type or size) and the blankets measure 36-40 inches square.  Otherwise, any color, any pattern done in squares or in one piece.  The NMCRS will provide you yarn to use and send a FedEx label to send the blankets back, free to you.

Hope to hear from some of my friends who would be willing to help out.
